Richard Rosenman has over 10 years of work experience in the national and international classical and computer animation industry. He has produced over 50 commercials for both film and broadcast, many award winners, and most of which have been directed by himself. Richard has extensive experience in all aspects of animation ranging from short form, long form, series, gaming, effects, web and film. Additional skills include live-action shoot supervising, storyboarding, conceptual design, broadcast design, print and web design. In 2003, Richard co-directed "Plumber", a 5 minute fully computer generated short film produced internally at Redrover Animation Studios Ltd. which won various festival awards, including a nomination for a 2004 British Academy award.

In 2005, Richard co-developed Depth Of Field Generator PRO, a powerful Adobe Photoshop plugin capable of delivering high quality, sophisticated Depth of Field and Bokeh effects quickly and efficiently as a post process. Currently in it's 3rd version, DOF PRO has become one of the best selling DOF post-processors in the industry.

In June of 2006, Richard and two other partners opened the doors of Hatch Studios Ltd., a full-service animation and motion graphics production studio located in downtown Toronto, Canada. The goal: to continue producing cutting-edge animation and motion graphics for print, broadcast and film.

In November of 2006, Richard launched CGSphere.com, a 3D community website developed with Michael Kocurek focused on a simple yet clever idea. The site was an instant success reaching 500,000 hits/day and featuring thousands of contributions from 3D artists around the world. CGsphere.com is currently a work-in-progress website and will continue to be improved in the coming year.
